CNC Machining

CNC machining is a subtractive manufacturing method that uses pre-programmed computer software to control the movement of factory tools and machines. Many complicated pieces of equipment, such as mills, routers, and lathes in addition to grinders and lathes, can be operated using this procedure. Three-dimensional cutting jobs can be completed with CNC machining in only one set of instructions. This procedure could be used on many metal and plastic materials. Tolerances as close as +/-0.02-0.05mm may be achieved in most circumstances using this method. The initial output from the CNC-machined part with regular size might come in as fast as 3 days.

  • Q Do you have any examples of successful projects or case studies?

A Yes, we have a portfolio of successful projects and case studies in different industries that showcase our expertise in rapid prototyping. Please reach out to our team, and we will provide you with the appropriate case studies.
  • Q Are you able to sign an NDA before we transfer the CAD data to you?

    A
Sure. We guarantee to keep your design and content secure and confidential. if needed, we can sign an NDA document with you. You can send your company's NDA to us directly(dominic@entronglobal.com), we will sign it and get back to you ASAP.
  • Q Can you handle large-scale production after the prototyping phase?

A Absolutely! After the prototyping phase, we can handle large-scale production with almost no upper limits. We can assist you in the transition from prototyping to production, as well as selecting the right manufacturing resources for your project.
  • Q What are the cost implications of rapid prototyping?

A The cost of a rapid prototyping project depends on factors such as the complexity of the design, the chosen prototyping technology, material selection, and the quantity of prototypes required. We provide customized quotes based on your specific project requirements.
  • Q What file formats do you accept for prototyping projects?

A We accept various file formats for prototyping, including but not limited to STL, STEP, IGES, and CAD files. If you have a specific file format, please let us know, and we will accommodate your needs.
  • Q Can you help with design modifications or improvements during the prototyping process?

A Absolutely! We have professional designers and engineers who can assist you with design modifications or improvements based on your feedback and requirements. We encourage collaboration throughout the prototyping process to ensure the final prototype would meet your expectations and functional specifications.
  • Q What materials can be used for rapid prototyping?

A We work with a wide range of materials for rapid prototyping, including plastics, metals, resins, and composites. The choice of material depends on factors such as your project requirements, desired properties (strength, flexibility, heat resistance, etc.), and the intended application of the prototype. We can guide you in selecting the most suitable material for your specific needs.
  • Q What is your minimum charge or order quantity for each project?

A We have no minimum charge nor order quantity. We accept low volume order as little as 1 single part.
  • Q How fast can I get my parts?

A Each technology has its own lead time, and it also depends on your project requirements. In general, we can produce your parts in as fast as 1 day with 3D printing, 3 days with CNC machining, 5 days with vacuum casting, 7 days with injection molding, and 7 days for rapid tools.
  • Q What types of rapid prototyping technologies do you offer?

A We offer a wide range of rapid prototyping technologies, including 3D printing (additive manufacturing), vacuum casting (or urethane casting), CNC machining, injection molding, and rapid tooling.
  • Q How could rapid prototyping benefit my business?

A Rapid prototyping allows you to visualize, test, and validate your designs before moving to production. More importantly, it reduces your development time, lowers costs, enables design iterations, and improves overall product quality.
